01 / THE FEELING

CLOTH FIRST

Some clothes stay with you long after you've stopped thinking about what you paid for them. The weight of a jacket when you lift it from the hanger. The soft surface of a knit against your skin. Deep colour that changes as the light moves across the cloth.

SKULLBY begins with those little things. The pleasure of something familiar, worn with a different attitude. Quiet confidence, a touch of darkness, and details worth looking at twice.

02 / THE BEGINNING

IT STARTED WITH A DRAWING

Long before SKULLBY had a name, M.J. was a boy of about ten, sketching clothes he wished he could wear. Among the pages was a little skull, drawn without any thought of starting a label.

Years later, he came across the notebook again. The skull was still there, imperfect, mischievous and unmistakably his. He kept its character. That childhood drawing became SKULLBY's emblem.

Sometimes an idea waits years before you find your way back to it.

A LITTLE CONTRAST

An old-world texture against a modern silhouette. A considered cut with an irreverent emblem. Something soft, substantial and easy to live in, with just enough of an edge to make it feel different.

SKULLBY draws from familiar menswear, gothic romance and the spirit of punk, without trying to become a costume. The aim is simple: clothes with character that still feel like yours the moment you put them on.

ALWAYS OUR OWN

The collections will change. The instinct behind them won't. Follow the texture. Trust the details. Wear what feels like you.
